MICR Toner FOR HP printers
Our Compatible HP Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (Micr) Toner is certified as ISO 9001, 14001 and STMC
compliant. Our manufacturing plants are annually inspected by an autonomous Auditor
who's certification comes from the
International Standards Organization (ISO). We take pride in our certifications and work hard to maintain that quality and it shows in the fact that we have a defect rate of less that one percent.
Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) toner is one of the essential components of securing and processing
bank checks. Normal toner cartridges may have an iron oxide signal strength 0f 30. The American
Banking Association requires the signal strength of 50 while the Europeans and
Canadians require 80. At the the MICR store our standards are even higher. We reject any MICR
toner cartridge that does not have a signal strength of 100.
When checks are being scanned it is very fast procedure and
weak signal strengths of the MICR toner can cause the read of the bank MICR number to
fail. If the check
fails the processing it has to be manually entered which can results in charge
backs from the bank. The integrity of the MICR code on the MICR line are vital to
banks and institutions processing you checks failure of the MICR bank code can and be
costly.
